The short animation Lapsus, created by Pablo Zaramella, excels at playing around with the 2D animation medium, and its use of a black/white color palette for comedic effect. Our protagonist, a nun, experiences a series of comedic events that rely on the shape of parts of her body as she moves back and forth from light to dark, as well has identity as a nun; the most prevalent example being her eyes leaping out of the dark, only to realize they were now recontextualized as the naked breasts of a very curvaceous woman! She immediately leaps back into the dark after covering what were the "eyes", which later transform into walking hands. The film thrives on this transformational kind of humor, as well as a setup akin to jumping back and forth behind a "curtain" - every time she emerges, it is a surprise for both the audience and the nun as to what happens to her next.
